About Rob

Rob is a graduate of the YogaLife Institute of New Hampshire’s 200-hour Classical Yoga Teacher Training Program and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance.

He first discovered Hatha Yoga in the late 1990s as a way to bring a more physical dimension to his meditation and spiritual practice. With a lifelong interest in metaphysical and philosophical inquiry, Rob earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Philosophy before turning his studies more inward—deepening his path through meditation, yoga, and related practices. He values yoga for its transformative impact on body, mind, and spirit.

As a teacher, Rob is committed to making yoga accessible and meaningful for students of all levels. His classes emphasize mindful embodiment, breath awareness, and the integration of the eight limbs of yoga. For example, with asana practice, he encourages an “inside-out” approach—guiding students to feel their way into each posture and discover their own authentic expression.

A long-time practitioner of Buddhism, Rob brings mindfulness and compassionate presence into his teaching. His classes are grounded in ethical awareness and inspired by both yogic and Buddhist traditions. While honoring yoga’s spiritual roots, Rob approaches it as a deeply human—not religious—path of self-inquiry, connection, and presence that is open to all.
